The MCITP Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7 certification is good for any individual who administers clients in a Windows networked environment.
It is recommend that the candidates have 3 years of prior experience installing and configuring Windows networks.
Most candidates with this certification move on to earn their MCITP for Windows Server 2008.
This certification requires only two exams:
1.) 70-680: Configuring Windows 7
2.) 70-686:Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Administrator
Please note: This certification will be discontinued January 31, 2014. The exams will remain in market, and by passing these exams you will continue to earn the MCSA: Windows 7 certification.
When you pass the Exam 70-680 you will automatically earn the MCTS: Windows Server 2008. This certification will help you land an entry level position as a computer network technician.
